Grading Dates June 2025
Next Club Gradings will take place during the week of 16th to 20th June.
Monday 16th June @ Weymouth Dojo.
- Junior 10th- 8th Kyu (White – Orange belts) 5 – 6.30pm.
- Brown & Black belts 7 – 9.30pm.
Tuesday 17th June @ Dorchester Dojo.
- Adults 10th – 4th Kyu (White – Purple/White belts) 7 – 9.00pm.
Friday 20th June @ Weymouth Dojo.
- Junior 7th – 4th Kyu (Green – Purple/White belts) 4.45 – 6.30pm.
All students must bring their licence books.
Orange belts and above must also bring their sparring mitts.
All grading fees should be paid before the grading starts.
The grading fee is £15 for junior grading and £20 for adults and brown belt gradings.
Karate Display
We have been asked to do a display at the Conifers Primary School in Weymouth at their Summer Fayre on Saturday 28th June. The Fayre runs from 12 – 4pm and our display is at 1.30pm.
We would like to have a range of students taking part to show what we do.
Anyone that is able to join please let Sensei Pete know.
WKA Interclub Tournament June 2025
Congratulations to ALL who participated!
Juniors and Adults entered kata and kumite events over two half days.
Contestants worked hard and showed really good attitude. Other positives were also evident:
Kime(focus), Control, Disicpline, Speed, Go(hard) and Ju(soft).
There were occassional nerves but those were overcome! Medals and trophies were won and Sunday finished off with even more smiles as exciting demonstrations were presented by our Senseis!!
What a great experience it was.
