We are a non-profit making organisation run by a committee. An annual general meeting is held every April when we report on the years activities and re-elect the executive committee.
Our style of karate is Goju ryu and we are affiliated with Goju Ryu Karate International (GKI)
Our Senseis are all qualified instructors complying with the Martial Arts Standard Agency rules. These require completion of an MASA accredited instructors course and a basic qualification in First Aid and are Criminal Records Bureau checked.
Our Chief Instructor is 7th Dan Sensei Peter Thompson who has been training for over 27 years in the UK and in Okinawa, the home of Goju-ryu karate, and has been in charge of WKA for over 16 years. He is also available for private lessons. Contact him directly for more information.
